It is a great victory today in America. Conan O’brien is coming back to late night.
Following his comedy tour Conan will make his return. He was rumored to maybe step over to Fox or CBS but he will be joining a cable channel. TBS (“The Super Station”) welcomes Conan in November. George Lopez included the announcement in his opening act last night.
This is definitely a step down from NBC’s late night. After receiving 30 million from NBC not to return Conan is probably just looking for a platform.
I think this is awesome. I already watch TBS regularly. Although George Lopez does not intrest me, I can now watch TBS’s late night. It will be interesting to see what the channel does with Lopez. Will this be the end of hispanic late night?
I think this is a great move for Coco and I wish him well.
